Nigeria Festac
Coming fresh from his visit to Nigeria in the
latter part of 2009, Kelly dedicates this
section to the people of Nigeria, Cross River
State, Calabar to be exact. The mask atop the
costume is an actual replica of the logo
designed for the Festival of Art & Culture (FESTAC),
and was presented to him by one of the students,
Edim Ekong, to whom he lectured. He holds this
section very close to heart, for his time spent
there, he said, “was totally awe inspiring and
enlightening”
